I was lucky enough to attend a small and intimate show of Steven Page's on Monday night over at the Emmanuelle United Reform Church in Cambridge.
Page has been one of my musical heroes since I first began playing guitar and I spent many hours playing along to Barenaked Ladies tracks. His solo and collaborative material after leaving BNL has continued to produce some incredible records (Page One has been in my car pretty much ever since I bought it!), so I was overjoyed to get the opportunity to chat with him briefly after the show and thank him for helping to shape the early stages of my musical development.
A really nice guy and it was fantastic to finally see him perform live - what a voice!
